BYRON MURRAY
Aces cofounder Byron Murray was inducted into the Aces Hall of fame after the NHL 18 season for his dedication to the club. Byron recruited nearly half of our online players who played a major role in our club's success, some who still play to this day. Byron was not known for his scoring ability but for his physicality and funny personality. At 8,880 penalty minutes, he still leads the franchise in this category with most of his penalty minutes being a result of fighting. During his career, he scored 350 goals and 1,092 assists in 2,449 games starting back in the NHL 13 season. Unfortunately, Byron passed away on December 24th, 2017, due to multiple medical complications caused by diabetes. The number 44 was retired to honor Byron and everything he has done for this organization.
