ST. Louis Bandits

The St. Louis Bandits were founded in 2017 to add another layer to the Aces development program. The Bandits served as the AA or ECHL team for the Aces because the amount of prosects had overflowed from the NHL level to the AHL level and so another team was needed. Like the Wolverines, the Bandits won the championship their first two seasons and then won a third championship in their fourth season. After their fifth season, the Bandits team was disbanded because the number of prospects had dropped off enough to where the team was no longer needed, and all the remaining prospects were then moved up to the AHL. The name Bandits was chosen because the lower-level prospects could be thought of as bandits, slowly trying to make their way to the top by any means necessary and similar to the Wolverines, combat is a common factor for the Triple X Elite names being used as prospects. St. Louis was the chosen city because one of the Triple X Elite cofounders was from St. Louis and he was responsible for bringing in a lot of the Triple X Elite prospects. By having this team in his city, he could "watch" his prospects. The Bandits used the red, white and black color scheme like the Aces but with the addition of purple. Purple symbolizes the younger/less experienced group but they're still very loyal and dedicated to this organization. The Bandits mascot was named after a Triple X Elite member, "SlickBandit", so "Slick" became their name, and the number 17 was used because the Bandits were founded in 2017.
